TRANSPARENT INFORMATION HANDLING

Privacy, explained clearly.

How Ads Studio handles the information you share when visiting our website or contacting our team.

Last updated: 8 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Ads Studio is a trading name of Xcel Rank Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17104488). Xcel Rank Ltd is the data controller for personal information it collects when you contact Ads Studio regarding its services. You can contact us at hello@xcelrank.com or telephone 07496 004510. Our registered office address is available from the Companies House public register.

2. Personal information we collect

If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or telephone, we may collect your name, business details, contact details, website, advertising objectives, approximate budget and messages you provide. When you browse our website, our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, requested URLs, access times and security logs. Please do not share passwords, payment card information or special category personal information in an initial enquiry.

3. How we use information

We use information to answer questions, arrange consultations, understand your service requirements, prepare proposals, communicate with you, manage any business relationship, protect the site and comply with applicable obligations. We do not automatically add people who contact us to promotional mailing lists.

4. Our lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we may rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries and keep the website secure; on taking steps at your request before a contract; on performance of an agreement; or on legal obligations such as accounting requirements. Where consent is required for electronic marketing or non-essential cookies, we will seek it in advance.

5. WhatsApp, email and telephone

Our WhatsApp button opens a conversation with the Ads Studio business number; no message is sent until you choose to send it. If you use WhatsApp, Meta/WhatsApp may process related information under its own privacy terms. You can read the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. Email links similarly open your own email application, and calls are handled through your phone provider. Please use whichever contact method you prefer.

6. Who we share data with

We may share relevant information with authorised team members and service providers involved in hosting, business email, messaging, security, technical support and account administration, only as necessary to provide or manage the service. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell personal information. Service providers may act as processors or separate controllers depending on the service and circumstances.

7. International access and transfers

Some authorised staff or technology providers may access information from outside the UK. We assess the data flows and apply the relevant UK data protection requirements, including appropriate safeguards where a restricted international transfer occurs. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your personal information.

8. How long we keep information

We retain enquiry and correspondence information only while it is needed to deal with your request, manage follow-up that is reasonably expected, establish or administer a client relationship, resolve disputes or meet applicable legal duties. We periodically review retained records and delete or anonymise information no longer needed. Retention is determined by the type of record, the ongoing relationship and applicable statutory requirements. If you want information about the criteria applied to your enquiry, contact us.

9. Cookies and website technology

This release of the website does not intentionally include advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting and security infrastructure may process server logs or use essential technical technologies. If we add optional analytics, advertising tags, embedded appointment booking or other non-essential cookies, we will update this notice and implement the appropriate consent controls before using them. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential technologies may affect site operation.

10. Your data protection rights

Subject to UK data protection law and its exemptions, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of or erasure of your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and in some circumstances to data portability. You can withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact hello@xcelrank.com to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.

11. Complaints

If you have concerns, please contact us so we can investigate. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information, including access controls and secure hosting practices. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely risk-free.

13. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Policy if our technology, providers, services or legal requirements change. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.
